Consequence Labs works with people who create and review data for AI systems. The work depends on the project: you might record a conversation, transcribe speech, judge an AI response, or explain how you complete a real task. Each assignment has its own requirements, schedule, and terms.

Take part in a guided interaction or show how you carry out a task, including decisions and corrections.
Evaluation and review
Compare AI responses, check examples against a rubric, identify errors, and explain your judgment.
Specialist knowledge
Use relevant professional or practical experience to create or review examples in a particular field.
Some work calls for particular languages, skills, equipment, locations, or experience. We explain the requirements for a specific opportunity before asking you to proceed.

If a suitable project is available, we explain the task, schedule, qualification steps, pay terms, and working arrangement.

Prepare for the work
Complete the applicable onboarding and a task-specific briefing or assessment before receiving an assignment.

Create or review data
Follow the project instructions, raise uncertainties, and receive feedback under the stated quality process.
Sending an introduction does not guarantee an assignment or a number of hours. Project availability and eligibility vary.

Opportunities can differ in timing and format. Some may let you arrange work around other commitments; others require a scheduled conversation, a particular location, or a deadline. You can review the conditions of a specific opportunity before deciding whether to take it. We state the rate and payment terms for that work before it begins.

What you bring matters.
We value careful listening, honest judgment, attention to instructions, and the willingness to flag uncertainty. The right background depends on the assignment. Natural conversation does not require the same qualifications as transcription or specialist review.
